Project description
The aim of the project is to further develop turf research in all its diversity. This includes various topics such as improving the quality and playing characteristics of stadium turf and golf turf. Environmentally conscious and resource-conserving use of turf. Laboratory work to analyse the physiology of the turf grasses.
Tasks
Work with sports turf and golf turf
Research work and realisation of own scientific work
Analysing and determining research data
Setting up scientific trials in practice
Maintenance and care of test areas
Working with measuring equipment in the laboratory and outdoors.
Requirements
Engineering or landscape engineering students at the undergraduate or graduate level
Basic knowledge of sports field construction is desirable but not a must.
Basic interest in Turfgrass Science/ Turfgrass Managment
Languages
English
German: basic knowledge useful, but not required
