Bremen City University of Applied Sciences
The Hochschule Bremen (HSB) – City University of Applied Sciences makes science for practice. With its range of degree programmes at its four locations, it secures the supply of skilled workers for Bremen and the region. HSB is strong in application- and basic research and makes an important transfer of science to society.
With more than 70 degree programmes in engineering, natural sciences, economics and social sciences, as well as international MBA and Master's degree programmes, HSB is the largest university of applied sciences (HAW) and the second-largest state scientific institution in the federal state of Bremen. Almost 9,000 students are enrolled. Over 390 co-operations with partner universities worldwide form the basis for its international orientation.
With the international network Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition European University – STARS EU for short – HSB is creating a European University with eight international universities. The alliance is funded by the European Union. Thanks to long-standing contacts with more than 180 partners from industry, which enable particularly practice-orientated teaching and research, HSB offers future-proof and innovative study content and is regarded as an innovation driver for the region. The International Graduate Centre (IGC) is affiliated to Hochschule Bremen - an excellent further education address for young professionals from all over the world and professionals from the region.
