On December 4, 2019, we organized our annual holiday party, in cooperation with the liaison offices of German universities located in New York City. As in previous years, friends and alumni of 16 German universities as well as the German Research Foundation (DFG) came together at the New York premises of Fresenius University of Applied Sciences to kick-off the holiday season. 

People working in global education are often asked does study abroad really have any impact; do students really go on to work in a different country or in international careers. Sometimes the world is very small and study abroad can be a little bit of serendipity...

“The Study & Internship Program was what really solidified my desire to become an entrepreneur. I interned for a small start-up tech company in Berlin, so I got to know the joys and pains of trying to build something with creative ideas. Because of the smaller team dynamics, I had a lot more input and contribution to the whole process, but also a lot more responsibility to back ideas with hard work.”
