This year, the hybrid event took place from 17 to 28th of October, gathering more than 140 students from 12 universities from all over the world. The multicultural teams worked hard to develop solutions tackling the Sustainable Development Goal 11: make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

On October 6 and 7, 2022 the Future Forum: Fabricating the Future took place at avangarde event space Company, and with strong representation from HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, our partner Drexel University, and of course, a broad range of relevant US and German researchers, teachers, designers, producers, journalists and more. Our speakers got a chance to connect and network with US, Canadian and other German high-impact fashion folks and politicians. 

UAS7 is pleased to support the newly established DWIH - German Center for Research and Innovation - in San Francisco. On the occasion of the official opening ceremony, Patrizia Nobbe, Executive Director of UAS7 New York, sends our warmest wishes to our colleagues at the West Coast. Katie Kuester is a marketing major from the University of Southern Indiana who spent her SIP experience at the Hochschule Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences this year, after participating in a summer program in 2019. We interviewed her about her experience in Germany during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Elizabeth Haeckler, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh, participated in the UAS7 Study Program in spring 2019. For one term, Liz was enrolled in the Engineering and Management program at Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS).
