With hundreds of respected universities to choose from as well as its location in the heart of Europe, it’s no wonder that Germany consistently ranks as one of the most popular countries in the world in which to study. In fact, Germany has been ranked as the fourth most popular destination for international students in the world (after the US, UK and Australia). Learn what opportunities await you for graduate studies in the land of ideas.

Gabriel Steinberg, recent computer science graduate from Binghamton University (SUNY), added a practical research experience to his studies. Through the UAS7 internship program, he was originally going to complete a research internship in multi-agent modelling and simulation with the MARS group at HAW Hamburg in Germany, but the corona pandemic put an end to those plans. Deciding he didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity, he arranged with the coordinating professor to complete the research remotely.

Balancing synochronous and asynchronous teaching; selecting the right technology tool and preparing students for international collaboration – these were just some of the many topics which were covered in the first round of the UAS7 Virtual Academy’s Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) coaching sessions held in early January 2021.

Our last stop of Employability (made) in Germany brought us to to our partner university the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 18, 2019, for a networking event focusing on Germany-oriented careers.

We recently went to South Carolina! At Clemson University we held our fourth event of the Employability (made) in Germany series on October 9, 2019, joined by TH Köln University of Applied Sciences and Munich University of Applied Sciences.

German Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences invited the OSU community for a fun night out with German education, beer and brats.

The UAS7 alliance – a network of seven German universities of Applied Sciences – took its most recent Employability (made) in Germany event to Wichita State University (WSU) in Wichita, Kansas, on September 11, 2019.

In the framework of Deutschlandjahr, UAS7 produces the event series „Employability (Made) in Germany“ at five different universities across the United States. In January 2019 we kicked off at the University of Alabama in Huntsville - time to have a look back!
