Due to the corona pandemic, not only in Germany has the university system predominantly gone virtual, universities have significantly expanded their digital teaching and learning offerings. This increase in digitalization is also to be anchored in international university cooperation projects. To this end, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will fund the joint project "UAS7 Virtual Academy" led by Bremen City University of Applied Sciences. The total grant amount is 250,000 euros.

UPDATE: Due to the COVID19 pandemic, almost all UAS7 summer programs will be cancelled for 2020. We are looking forward to the next round of summer schools in 2021! Stay safe and healthy.

An “International student week for entrepreneurship” took place from Nov 11th to Nov 14th in São Leopoldo (RS). Coordinated by UNISINOS, Tecnosinos, FH Münster and UAS7.

Our next event on Employability (made) in Germany is coming up at the University of Southern Indiana on April 17 from 2pm to 5pm. The event is part of the Year of German-American Friendship or Deutschlandjahr – Wunderbar Together!

On January 30, 2019, UAS7 and Bremen City University of Applied Sciences launched a series of five events within Wunderbar Together, the Year of German-American Friendship 2019, at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).

On Thursday, April 28, 2016, the UAS7 New York Office hosted a panel discussion on the topic of "Bridging the U.S. Skills Gap - A Transatlantic Discussion on Vocational Training and Best Practices" in cooperation with the German Consulate New York. 

How can colleges and universities best collaborate with businesses and industries to serve the professional interests of their students? What can universities in Germany learn from their U.S. partners in this regard, and vice versa? These were some of the questions at the center of the UAS7-presidential delegation visit to New York from November 3 through November 6, 2015.
