Am 20. Oktober 2023 hat das diesjährigen "Future Forum" in New York stattgefunden. Das Future Forum ist eine Veranstaltung, die führende Köpfe aus Wissenschaft, Forschung und Wirtschaft aus Deutschland und den USA zusammenbringt, um sich auszutauschen und Innovationen zu diskutieren.

On Oct. 27, the New York based German university liaison offices hosted the fourth virtual Germany Grad Fair for North American (and beyond) undergraduate and graduate students interested in graduate studies in Germany.

Am 27. und 28. Oktober nehmen Studierende der Vertieferrichtung Verkehrswesen des Fachbereichs Bauingenieurwesen der FH Münster an der Tagung „Fresno International Transportation Innovations Summit PEDAL 2023“ in Fresno, USA teil.

This Fall, the North America office of UAS7 presented at different career fairs across the United States. We want to share with you some of the highlights of our broad participation. 

UAS7 went to Boston for the German American International Network conference on August 25-27, 2023. GAIN is a network of the German Research Foundation (DFG), the DAAD, and the AvH Foundation. The GAIN conference supports transatlantic mobility of early career researchers, attracting German, US, and international researchers from MIT, Harvard, Boston University, and regional research institutes, interested in German career paths and collaborations.

Moving the Cities is an international event that has been reoccurring annually since 2018. It unites students, professors, industry representatives and universities from all over the world. The goal of Moving the Cities is to look at regional challenges that cities face from an international perspective. To do just that, 135+ students from 6 countries collaborated digitally for one week. 28 internationally mixed teams with participants from Brazil, Chile, Germany, Colombia, England and the USA competed in the final pitches to convince the international jury of their solution.

Die TH Köln unterstützt Studierende und weitere Hochschulangehörige künftig noch stärker dabei, ihre innovativen Ideen in Unternehmensgründungen umzusetzen. Die Hochschule investiert im Rahmen des Projektes StartUpLab@TH Köln in eine Infrastruktur, die einen zentralen Ort für die Gründungsaktivitäten bietet.

Die Jubiläumsinitiative des Stifterverbandes geht in die erste Förderphase: Ein Expertenbeirat hat aus 500 Bewerbungen die 100 besten Ideen für die Zukunft des Bildungs-, Wissenschafts- und Innovationssystems ausgewählt. Unter diesen hundert Projekten sind auch drei von UAS7-Hochschulen initiierte Projekte.
