Das Deutsche Wissenschafts- und Innovationshaus (DWIH) São Paulo veranstaltete seinen ersten internen Workshop – eine Gelegenheit, die Unterstützer, zu denen auch UAS7 gehört, des DWIH zu versammeln und die Ergebnisse der bereits geleisteten Arbeit und Perspektiven für die Zukunft zu diskutieren.

The internship at the UAS7 Liaison Office in New York felt both like a lifetime and like two days, despite being six months long. I learned a lot from my colleagues and had the opportunity to participate in thought-provoking events. I encourage others to live abroad and experience different cultures, as it can be a truly enriching adventure.

Moving the Cities is an international event that has been reoccurring annually since 2018. It unites students, professors, industry representatives and universities from all over the world. The goal of Moving the Cities is to look at regional challenges that cities face from an international perspective. To do just that, 135+ students from 6 countries collaborated digitally for one week. 28 internationally mixed teams with participants from Brazil, Chile, Germany, Colombia, England and the USA competed in the final pitches to convince the international jury of their solution.

Hallo zusammen! Mein Name ist Friederike Mönning und ich unterstütze nun seit einer Woche UAS7 in New York und Berlin. Mit einem Bachelor der Hochschule Bremen und eingeschrieben im Master International Marketing & Sales an der Fachhochschule Münster freue ich mich nun auch die anderen UAS7 Hochschulen kennenzulernen.

Elizabeth Haeckler, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh, participated in the UAS7 Study Program in spring 2019. For one term, Liz was enrolled in the Engineering and Management program at Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS). In this interview, she talks about her experience.
