Project description
Develop Software (in C++ and/or Python) for the different aspects of autonomous robotics: Navigation, Localization, Path Planning and Sensing. You will work with real robots and perform real life experiments with autonomous robots for different tasks: Racing, Service Robots, Rescue Robots etc… You will work with microcontrollers, electronics, sensors and mechanical components. You will integrate software for the different sensors: Cameras, lidars, IMUs, Ultrasound etc using ROS2 under Ubuntu. Previous experience in C++ and Python are an advantage. Interest in robotics, electronics and mechatronics is a plus. This project involves intensive laboratory work and experimentation.
