UAS7 offers excellent applied study and internship exchange opportunities for undergraduates from U.S. and Canadian colleges and universities, as well as UAS7 partner institutions in Brazil. Graduate students may apply for internships.

Future Forum: Building Biopolis 

Join the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New York online for the FUTURE FORUM: Building Biopolis. Future Forum brings together American and German startup talents and established industry professionals, academics and policy makers to envision Biopolis, the green city of the future. UAS7 will be represented by Lena Lankenau, Bremen City University of Applied Sciences, at the "Global Challenges and Solutions for Coastal Areas" workshop on Oct. 15.

November 26-28, 2020 | online

Moving the City - 3rd Meeting UNISINOS/UAS7

In November 2020, for the third time, students from UAS7 universities will come together with students from North and South American partner universities to find innovative solutions for social challenges together. This year, the Moving the City project will go completely virtual, allowing students from both sides of the Atlantic to work together online and pitch their ideas to mentors from business and academia in a digital setting.

A unique connection to Germany

David Driscoll studied abroad at HAW Hamburg in 2009 as part of the UAS7 Study and Internship Program. Today he works as a Senior Designer for the Peter Schmidt Group in Munich. But it all started with a glimpse of his German heritage in 1997.
