UAS7 President and Executive Director of the UAS7 New York office visit Drexel University to expand their partnership and explore potential collaborations. Drexel's emphasis on co-op education, applied sciences, and entrepreneurship aligns well with UAS7's mission. Talks with university officials highlighted shared interests and possible innovative projects. Learn more about this visit that reinforced the strong bond between institutions.

By October 1, we welcome applications to our Study and Internship Programs starting in spring 2023 from students currently enrolled at universities in the U.S. and Canada or at our partner institutions in Brazil; UNISINOS and PUCRS. All applicants will automatically be considered for a 1,000 EUR travel grant.

UAS7 is pleased to support the newly established DWIH - German Center for Research and Innovation - in San Francisco. At the 2022 AIEA Annual Conference, UAS7 had the pleasure to share their first year Virtual Academy experiences on a panel entitled “Taking Virtual to the Next Level”, jointly with Ben Brisch, Director of the DAAD North America Office, Ann-Kristin Matthe, Head of Section Digitalisation for Internationalisation at DAAD Germany, and Annette Richie, Director of Global Academic Programs at our partner University at Albany.

We recently had a chance to present at the fabulous IVEC Conference hosted by our partner Drexel University and East Carolina University. The topic was the UAS7 Virtual Academy, which is the virtual pillar among UAS7's internationalization instruments.

The last two years changed the world and with it changed the parameters of applied sciences. At a hybrid University-Industry talk, sponsored by the Otto and Fran Walter Foundation, academic, business and industry leaders from three continents shared their ideas on university-industry relations and Innovation Powered by Applied Sciences.

Prof. Dr. Mechthild Schrooten, Bremen City University of Applied Sciences (UAS7) and Prof. Dr. Rita Biswas, University at Albany (SUNY), organized a virtual "Global Finance" course for their students from both institutions as part of the UAS7 Virtual Academy this spring term. To wrap up their cooperation, which also included a joint presentation at an international conference, they met in Bremen to plan further research together.

UAS7 is excited to announce the continuation of our strong partnership with the State University of New York system by extending the joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that has been in place since September 2011.
