Benjamin Brobbey is a fourth-year electrical engineering co-op student at Drexel University, USA. In September 2022 he came to Germany to complete a study and internship year at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg). He was one of the first recipients of a Gilman-DAAD scholarship.

This year we participated again in the big NAFSA conference for thousands of internationalization and higher education experts from around the globe, and met our partners and friends there. Traditionally, we hosted the UAS7 Partners' and Friends Luncheon on Tuesday, this year at Clyde's of Gallery Place, with a merry group of 40.
After already receiving excellent ratings in the past for the bachelor's and master's programs of the Department of Engineering and Management, HM has once again been recognized by the students this year.
UAS7 President and Executive Director of the UAS7 New York office visit Drexel University to expand their partnership and explore potential collaborations. Drexel's emphasis on co-op education, applied sciences, and entrepreneurship aligns well with UAS7's mission. By October 1, we welcome applications to our Study and Internship Programs starting in spring 2023 from students currently enrolled at universities in the U.S. and Canada or at our partner institutions in Brazil; UNISINOS and PUCRS. All applicants will automatically be considered for a 1,000 EUR travel grant.
We are happy to announce that Benjamin Brobbey, a 3rd year Electrical Engineering Student at Drexel University, is among the first 40 recipients of the new Gilman-DAAD Germany Scholarship. This prestigious grant will support his UAS7 Study and Internship Program (SIP) at HAW Hamburg starting in fall 2022.
