UAS7 President and New York Office Director Visit Drexel University
Andreas Zaby, President of UAS7, and Patrizia Nobbe, Executive Director of the UAS7 New York office, visited Drexel University on February 20, 2023. Drexel University, located in Philadelphia, is a long-term partner of UAS7, e.g. through a student exchange agreement. With their strong co-op education, applied sciences and entrepreneurship orientation, this research-intense institution is an excellent fit for UAS7 members on multiple levels.
During this brief but comprehensive visit Andreas Zaby and Patrizia Nobbe had the chance to meet with President John Fry and a broad range of key actors within the university, from entrepreneurship to co-op and civic engagement centers, to engineering, economics and law departments. We were able to identify strong similarities and promising venues of collaboration, including potential virtual program partnerships.
This visit once-more underlined the various crossovers and joint areas of interest. A campus tour gave us an impression of the beautiful, remarkable and vastly expanding Drexel University campus, with strong investments from co-op and research partners.
Our particular thanks goes to Rogelio Miñana, Vice Provost for Global Engagement at Drexel University, who organized such a fascinating and fruitful range of meetings. We are looking forward to further deepen our partnership in the near future.
