UAS7 at first in-person Germany Grad Fair since 2019
On Friday, March 25, the 5th Germany Grad Fair took place at the German Consulate General in New York City. The fair is organized in March or April each year for undergraduate and graduate students, young professionals and everyone else interested in German graduate studies and to attract relevant groups we reach out widely across universities and relevant education institutions in the New York metropolitan area.
This year’s event was co-organized by the New York based university liaison offices, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Research Foundation (DFG) and supported by the Consulate General with introductory remarks and a booth, and was the first in-person Germany Grad Fair since the start of the pandemic.
Patrizia Nobbe, Executive Director of UAS7 New York, and Elisa Schumann, UAS7 New York Intern, provided information about the approximately 50 English-language master's programs the UAS7 network offers. In addition to study programs, visitors were also able to learn more about opportunities for research, funding and career advancement.
Although not all registered participants actually came, the first in-person fair since 2019 was a great success for everyone involved. We are more than happy to be able to offer on-site events again and already look forward to the next Grad Fair in spring 2023.
