The coronavirus pandemic is keeping all of us from going out and meeting friends or travelling abroad at the moment. Your study abroad plans may have been cancelled due to the crisis. DW Free German Courses – all levels

You can learn German at your own pace with German courses from DW: E-learning on the computer, with videos, audio clips and podcasts – or using traditional methods with worksheets you can print out. Select between German language courses for beginners and advanced levels.

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. Its aim is to promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. “Deutsch für dich” offers language learning content for all language levels.

Probably one of the most popular apps for language learning, DuoLingo provides game-like lessons to learn German with ease.

Additional tip

If you are preparing to study in Germany, you will need to reach a certain level and prepare for an official German Language examination, which you can also prepare for online with Deutsch Uni Online. However, these courses are not free of charge, but still quite affordable, with prices ranging from 150-355 EURO for a 3-months course.
