Alumni Startup Mentoring
We're excited to unveil a new virtual startup mentorship collaboration connecting North America and Europe. We invite esteemed UAS7 alumni from our US and Canadian network of partner universities - those who have spent a semester or more at one of our UAS7 campuses for studies or internships - to work with the dynamic startup centers at our German universities and share your invaluable expertise with new startups from across UAS7 entrepreneurship hubs in Berlin, Münster, and beyond. Enter our mentorship track and become a startup mentor or coach for startups on various levels. For very new mentors, mentorship support is available.
If you are a UAS7 program alumnus working in North America and interested in giving back with your expertise, in rekindling and in expanding your German networks, please complete this questionnaire. When we have a university startup team that needs your specific expertise, we will reach out for mutual interviews about fit, size and expectations. You and the startup team then set your own timeline.
Expectations: If successfully matched with a startup team, and after mutual initial conversations, you may expect to provide mentorship support of about 12 virtual hours over the course of six months. These include preliminary meetings with the startup center staff and then a meeting with the startup team, to see if both want to work together on their own independent schedule.
What you get: A rekindling of your connections with Germany, and a network expansion through the university-based startup centers at UAS7 universities of applied sciences, as well as mentorship support if needed.
For all questions please contact the UAS7 New York office.
