German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

UAS7’s New York office cooperates closely with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German national agency for the support of international academic cooperation. They offer funding for students, faculty, researchers and others in higher education. DAAD also represents the German higher education system abroad, promotes Germany as an academic and research destination, and helps build ties between institutions around the world.

DAAD offers lots of valuable information on its website (www.daad.org) regarding studying in Germany and available scholarships and funding. Their publication “Studying in Germany – A guide for international students” (PDF) answers the most frequent questions students have about studying in Germany. You can also download a brochure on all grants available to US and Canadian students, faculty and researchers on the DAAD website.
