Application Process

The application form has to be completed ONLINE HERE. You must send the original printout of the application with your personal signature, your supplemental documents and materials, and 4 copies of these materials in one package to the DAAD New York office. Be certain to submit all materials and the correct number of copies (4) of each. Incomplete or late applications can not be accepted.

The Supplemental Documents comprise:

• Your Resume
• Statement of motivation (incl. study plan)
• Two letters of recommendation from professors in your major field of study.
• Proof of institutional contact with the UAS7 university you are applying at.
• Statement of Support and Credit Eligibility.

Please do not call our office regarding the status of your application. You will be notified by March 31st 2009 if your application has been successful.

Please provide your documents in the order listed above and do not staple or bind any of your documents.
