Preparing students for their future careers in an international environment is part of the mission of all universities in the UAS7 alliance. Therefore, the international dimension is part of the everyday curriculum: Some programs are taught entirely in English, most other programs include English modules. It is often mandatory to study abroad for at least one full semester. All UAS7 universities are part of an extended network of international partnerships, mainly throughout Europe, North America and Asia. To prepare our students for international study, we offer language training in many languages.

A number of international programs add to that: All UAS7 partners run programs which have been developed with partner universities abroad. The programs therefore combine the best of many regions and cultures, and therefore offer students a truly international perspective. A number of programs are designed to attract students from different cultural backgrounds, allowing them to experience international cooperation firsthand. Furthermore, UAS7 is increasingly promoting faculty exchange between our universities and partner institutions abroad.

The seven universities of applied sciences are also known for their strong links to the business sector. National as well as international companies and institutions cooperate with UAS7 institutions in research, by providing internships, and by sponsoring students to participate in programs.
