The UAS7 alliance offers 500 degree programs of a wide variety at the Bachelor and Master level, with some programs being taught entirely in English. The alliance was founded in response to major changes in the European higher education systems. By combining the strengths and unique resources of the seven institutions in a cooperative effort, the UAS7 alliance aims to offer superior value for students, as well as our national and international partners.
UAS7 strives to further develop the scope and quality of the academic exchanges with US and Canadian universities by expanding student exchanges at the undergraduate and graduate level, the exchange of academic staff and the promotion of internships at German and US companies, as well as collaborative research efforts.
Study programs at the alliance's seven universities cover a wide variety of fields, and a particular strength of the alliance lies in the areas of engineering and business. German engineering education has always had an excellent reputation and its quality and high level of expertise linked with practical experience is recognized worldwide. Close links to the major players in the industry ensure practical orientation during the study programs and state-of-the-art technology with excellent career opportunities for graduates.
Europe, and particularly Germany, are important markets and business partners for North American companies and services. The UAS7 alliance has a strong focus on business and management, with study programs looking at questions of the German and European markets as well as the challenge of global business. The international management programs at the UAS7 universities are an excellent opportunity for international students to gain insight into the European perspective and experience first-hand the challenges of intercultural communication and international project management.
