DAAD Information Tour "Germany Today": Getting to know Germany’s Universities of Applied Sciences (June 17 - 23, 2018)

04 brandenburgertor

DAAD’s information tour “Germany Today” is designed to give participants from the U.S. a broader overview of Germany’s higher education landscape. This year, the tour will focus on German Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), which are an essential element of the German higher education system. UAS make up more than half of the number of higher education institutions and host 35% of all students. Participants will have the opportunity to visit six German UAS across the country, including three members of the UAS7 alliance (Münster University of Applied Sciences, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences & Berlin School of Economics and Law). The program will be interactive: the hosts will provide valuable insights into their activities, and participants will be asked to share their perspectives and expertise with them.
